Introduction
Military Run brings conscripts together to show their skills on an obstacle course, try different sports and explore diverse recruitment opportunities. The event aims to support young people’s physical and mental wellbeing and highlight the importance of teamwork. At the same time, it helps conscripts find their place in society after service.

Challenge
Events aimed at conscripts must serve many purposes: offering a physical experience, supporting wellbeing and opening doors to working life. A complete solution was needed to combine all these goals.

Solution
Military Run was built around three elements. In the obstacle run, teams competed on barracks obstacles and special tracks designed for the event. At the sports stations, conscripts tried different disciplines guided by sports clubs and associations. In the recruitment area, companies and organizations presented open jobs and career opportunities and offered practical tasks.

At the end of the event, each participant received a Military Run sample bag that included products such as sports bars, noodles, Ice Power, Compeed plasters and vitamins. In 2020 the event featured several recruitment companies and brands including Liikenneareena, Posti, Fazer, Palmia, Eventstars, Battery, Lassila & Tikanoja and the Police. More than 15 associations also contributed to the event.
